Day One Hundred Fifteen

Imagine if my camera wasn't zoomed in x10,
and that was my view of the PLATINUM BASH!

p.s. click on the photo and find the little blue speck to the bottom-left
of the larger blue speck right under the fence in the middle of the bleachers . You found Sunday!

Day One Hundred Eleven

Yay! Another opportunity to showcase my favorite building on the NAU campus. The Applied Research and Development building is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) platinum certified. I can make the concious decision to use either 0.8 or 1.6 gallons of reclaimed water per flush!

Keep it up NAU.

Day One Hundred Ten

With the occasional floater waiting for you when you have to
the bathroom at 2 in the morning is a terrible experience. I
live with monkeys. Who'd a thought 20 year-olds needed to
be told how to operate the lever that kills the poopy?

Day One Hundred Nine

Why is this tampon dispenser art?
Because it was in the Men's room, that's why.

i may be a little late posting this
but the picture is worth it, right? RIGHT?

Day One Hundred Seven

Just in case you are very very short. Also there is a secret compartment in the steps filled with tampons.

Day One Hundred and Six

Hello.
Don't forget to flush.

-Sam

The One Year Photo gang will be participating in themes every other week.
This week it is the beauty of public restrooms.

Day One Hundred Five

Tucson, with its abundant sunshine and good weather, has a gigantic public rose garden. Right now it is in full bloom, with every type and color of rose represented (as you can see). But today it's going to be hot, just like the rest of the week...

Day One Hundred Four

I forgot about taking a picture today. Luckily, an Erik was on hand.

By the way, don't order grab bag items from Cottonfactory.com

Day One Hundred Three

FIELD TRIP! Today I went down to four different professional
print shops in Phoenix and it was awesome. This is from Prisma-
graphic. They can kick out 60,000 prints an hour with this machine.

Day One Hundred

Mmmmm. Pierogies are fantastic. One day I will make them from scratch. Until then, Mrs. T is my surrogate mother.

Day Ninety Nine

Monday likes to think you are a fan of creepy babies.

I went to my Aunt's house this Easter and discovered this lovely child sitting on one of the beds.  It was bought from QVC a million years ago. Money well spent if you ask me.

Have a wonderful week
less then three
-Sam

Remember there is no a theme this week, but we will resume back to the madness soon.

Day Ninety Eight

EDWARD, I HAVE AN APPLE FOR YOU, YOU GREAT DEAD BEAST!
Even though I have read the movie and seen the book (yes, just like that), I still don't really understand this apple business. Or how they managed to time travel to the 70's to get special effects for the movie. Or what chess has to do with anything in the series. Oh well. It doesn't matter. Hop on my back, spider monkey! I'm taking you for a ride!

(P.S. Click on the spider monkey.)

I had a lot of fun today, and apparently
there is a way to learn how to fly.

Day Ninety Five

No one was using the moon, were they?
Just gonna borrow it for a minute...

Day Ninety Three

If elbows aren't funny angles, then I don't know what is.

Day Ninety Two

Based on a true story.

It's funny angles week on One Year Photo.
Have a good day.
-Sam

Oh, thanks Fiona and Jesse for taking one for the team and getting eaten by the dinosaur. I bet you don't need blogs in heaven.

Day Ninety One

Maybe I just want to fly
I want to live I don't want to die
Maybe I just want to breathe
Maybe I just don't believe
Maybe you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

Day Ninety

I spent ten long days in Jerusalem
Mmmm Jerusalem, sweet Jerusalem
And all I ate was olives
Nothing but olives
Mountains of olives
It was a good ten days
I like olives
I like you too

Day Eighty Nine

"No wonder kids grow up crazy. A cat's cradle is nothing
but a bunch of X's between somebody's hands, and little
kids look and look and look at all those X's..."....."And?"
"No damn cat, and no damn cradle."

- Kurt Vonnegut, Cat's Cradle: A Novel
