Day One Hundred Forty Seven

I have done absolute squat this week.
Still recovering from the marvelous No Doubt show.
The glory will live forever.

Day One Hundred Fourty Six

Part of the farm with part of the cows (included). I am spending the summer in Nebraska on an off-grid "energy farm" with Nebraska Renewable Energy Systems. I'm loving the manual labor! And I'm not kidding. Being a college student, I've sat on my ass for too long, so this is fabulous. A wind turbine came down a couple days ago, so today us girls wound up the wires today along with some other chores. I'm also building up the walls and door for my room in the basement, as well as a bathroom. Like I said, I'm out here all summer, so I'll try to change up my pics and keep it spicy. Please call me about new themes, as I don't know how often I'll be in town to get internet. Old McDonald out.

Day One Hundred Forty Five

I've been home for a couple of days and had the chance
to hang out with some friends. Jilyssa, Micah, and
Spencer were all there. This is the first summer that
I'll be spending away from them. I miss them already.

Day One Hundred Thirty Eight

I decided to make a cute animal yesterday with Jane. They
came out ok, but the needle and thread method takes way
longer than we thought. But socks and stuffing is definitely
the way to go. Have a good'n!

Day One Hundred Thirty Seven

My cute cats were hiding from me.
In lieu of Reina licking between her toes, please accept "Sleeping Pandas, Big Dreams"

Day One Hundred Thirty Six

Mere cats at the San Diego Zoo.
They definitely count as cute.

Day One Hundred Thirty Five

Mr. Penguin is planning his vacation. He's sick and tired of the cold and wet and is ready for a real change of scenery.

Day One Hundred Thirty Four

I would like to introduce you to Courage the cat.
Courage, meet the internet.
He was a graduation gift to my cousin Michael. Who, by the way is going to be the world's best middle school science teacher.

Have a good evening.
The theme for this week is cute animals.

Day One Hundred Thirty Three

On the drive back from Bisbee, we discovered a turtle... sale? Let's just call it a sale. Anyway. We're driving along and suddenly we see this yellow sign that says "Turtles" with a man sitting behind a white fold up table. We turn around and go back, only to discover that he was selling turtles! Not just any turtles, but baby turtles. Hundreds of baby turtles. Only $10 each.

Day One Hundred Thirty Two

Truly scrumptious a wonderful week in Bisbee. I've done absolutely nothing productive and I'm quite proud of it. This summer, I forsee, will be monumental.

Day One Hundred Thirty-One

I'm super excited to be staying in Arizona this
summer. I've been down at me Granny's for the
weekend. She has tons of knick-knacks, but I
think these are some of my favorites. G'day!

Day One Hundred Thirty

A Happy Bat Mitzvah card.
The wishes Happy Mother's Day.
And is stuffed with Monopoly money.

Great gift to send my bff who actually thought she could get money out of me for her graduation, or the greatest gift to send my bff who actually thought she could get money out of me for her graduation?

Day One Hundred Twenty Three

I decided to take Susannah's silverware crisis pic and kick it up a notch.
A fuzzy notch.
Identity-confused Canadian Goofy is thinking of jumping and Maurice the Panda & Spunky the Monkey are just walking away?

Day One Hundred Twenty One

Did you know that your nose and ears never stop growing? Last week, Erik posted a photo of a sculpture of himself as an old man. He got a few things wrong. This is what he's really going to look like.

If you don't know what the theme is this week, please view video below.

Day One Hundred Nineteen

So, Wednesday night the U of A hosted the Last Smash Platinum Bash (don't ask me where they came up with this tongue twister title), featuring some big name artists like Jay-Z, Kelly Clarkson, Third Eye Blind, and the Veronicas. I didn't originally plan to go (tickets were pretty expensive), but Toxic Tony worked his toxic magic (again) and scored a pair of free tickets from KRQ. Along with free nosebleed seats, we got to meet the Veronicas. So here you go, here is Toxic Tony and me posing awkwardly with the tiny, fragile Veronicas. Woot!

My landlord's son is the bomb.

Day One Hundred Seventeen

Kinda creepy. I had to do an art project for my
art history class. It involved sculpting a self-
portrait that looked like me, except older. I
think he needs a little work. Good luck replicat-
ing this, Susie. Good luck on finals!
